The Queen of Deccans, Oxford in the east, and the cultural center of Maharashtra, Pune is a city of the future that promises to be as interesting as its history.

A long-standing fortress of the Maratha Empire and home to the legendary Raje Shree Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj , the Pune district features a magnificent land and sea fort that is a testament to its glorious past.

After Shree Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj, in the early 18th century, the Marathi family Peshwa, who grew from a court minister to a major political power in the coming decades, emerged. However, after the Battle of Panipat in 1761, the Maratha Empire began to decline, and in 1818 Pune was acquired by the East India Company.

Today, Pune is the center of traditional Marathi culture and is proud of its education, arts and crafts and theater. There is one of the oldest universities in India, many of which attract both Indians and international students. That's why it's probably called Eastern Oxford.

Pune is slowly becoming an international city and is now an important commercial center. The narrow winding roads of old Pune make a wonderful difference to the open and spacious new city. However, Pune retains the charm of the Old World and many of its quaint features, including ubiquitous cyclists, rickshaws, and the very seriously taken daily siesta hours.

Private hire (minicabs)

Private hire (minicabs)

In London the term minicab is used in reference to a private rental car and in the rest of the United Kingdom it is used “privately rented”; This is a driverless car that is only available for rent on a pre-booking basis. After finding loopholes in the law (it was possible to get a dual hockey / private hire license in the 1960s), they still competed with hacking carriages in the 1960s. The minicab must be booked, for example, by telephone, internet or fax or in person at a registered minicab office. The minicab can be booked when needed, but only at the office of the registered company to accept the booking instead of going to the driver.

Minicabs have been subject to certain regulations in London and other local authorities since 2001. London’s minicab is now known as TFL (London Taxi and Private Rental), or LTPH, formerly known as Public Carriage Office. It is now the body that regulates licensed taxicabs in London, but minicab drivers will not have to complete the knowledge and will have to undergo a small "topographic test" to obtain a private hired driver's license, although they usually rely on satnavs or local knowledge to pick them up. London minicab drivers must have a pH license for all vehicles available for pre-booking. It is updated twice a year with MOT testing after the licensed garage inspection. New applicants in London should send their topographical test certificate along with their application to LTPH’s PH Driver License Department.

There have been many models over the years. Although there is a lot of luggage in the passenger compartment, the space near the driver's seat can be used for luggage. To increase curiosity, the turn circle is shorter than other vehicles of the same size (the black cab is said to be able to turn "6p").To make it easier, there is a good headroom and a ramp for disabled people.
